Description

Responsible forproject managementofassigned onshore project(s)
Overall responsible forproject execution includingassigned project resources
Develop and issue project execution plansfor every project
Manage overall project schedule and budget including management reporting
Prepare project status reports addressing schedule budgetstaffingsafety and open issues
Monitorsub-contractorqualitycost and schedule performance
Manage Project Engineers to reviewprojectSpecifications Standards Drawing Reviews and coordination withvendors andcustomers
Monitor and coordinate engineeringsite visitsand responses to contractor inquiries
Monitor delivery and review ofdocumentsdrawings and submittals
Attend job site meetings with contractorsconsultantsand customerstoreview andmonitor progress on activities
Initial review of vendor andsub-contractor payment applications validating project progress against approved schedule of values
Evaluate negotiate and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders
Oversee theproject HSSEQprogram and ensure proceduresarefollowed

Amount of Travel:

Some travel to site locations may be required

Qualifications

Technical knowledge of engineering designand constructionof onshore projects specifically strong compressor pipelines and facilities experience
Project Management Experience in Engineering and/or Construction firm
Engineering and designexperiencewith5years workingas PMon multiple projects
Experiencemanaging multipleindividual projectsof $5M or greater
Experience managing team of project engineers

Technical knowledge and understanding of project scheduling and estimating
General understanding ofHSSEQprograms and requirements

Software:

Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)

Strong MS Project capabilities and experience
Some software capabilitieswithAutoCADandMicrosoft Visio

Education/ ExperienceLevel:

BScMScor equivalentin Process/Mechanical / Civil /Electrical/InstrumentEngineering

PMP or MPM Certification preferred

10 years of experience in theonshoreOil & Gas or Energy industry
5 years of experience managing multiple projects at the same time
