An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Development Lead within the Growth Service in the Environment & Transport Department. We are looking for someone to lead the County Councils input to a portfolio of highly sensitive and complex strategic development sites including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
About the Role
You will manage a portfolio of highly sensitive and complex Priority Development Sites located throughout the County acting as a key knowledge holder delivering against tight deadlines and monitoring the Councils financial and other risks ensuring that they remain tightly managed.
You will lead engagement with Chief Officers and senior managers across the Council to take forward the Councils growth agenda exploring opportunities that secure and accelerate housing delivery commitments and maximise developer contributions for infrastructure and Council services.
This post is politically restricted therefore the post holder is disqualified from undertaking certain political activities under the Local Government Officers (Political Restrictions) Regulations 1990.
