EduTalent Group are recruiting an Assistant Headteacher / SENDCO to join a specialist education setting supporting pupils with additional needs. This role combines strategic leadership and day-to-day management of SEND provision with a teaching commitment. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive school improvement promote inclusion and ensure high-quality outcomes for all students with a pathway to full senior leadership responsibility.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience as a SENCO or in a leadership role within a specialist/alternative provision setting
Strong understanding of SEND legislation EHCPs and provision mapping
Proven ability to lead manage and develop teaching assistants and staff
Experience monitoring and improving teaching and learning standards
Ability to analyse assessment data to inform interventions and strategies
Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and independent school standards
Experience working with parents local authorities and external agencies
Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills
Commitment to inclusion safeguarding and promoting high standards for all pupils
Teaching experience across relevant age groups and abilities
