Job Summary

Job Title: System Architect

Location: Porto Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Define and evolve system architecture for scalable secure and high-availability solutions ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements
Design and implement microservices-based applications using Java (8) and Spring Boot leveraging Kubernetes for container orchestration
Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to structure complex domains and ensure maintainable modular systems
Lead the integration of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2 and FHIR) within distributed architectures
Provide technical leadership through architecture governance best practices definition and mentoring of development teams

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

8 years of experience in systems architecture with at least 5 years working with microservices and Kubernetes
2 years of practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and implementing healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2 and FHIR
Proficiency in Java (8 or higher) and Spring Boot for building enterprise-grade applications
Solid understanding of distributed systems containerization and cloud-native architecture principles
Level B2 English both written and spoken
