Job Summary
- Separating clothing and other textiles washing drying pressing and folding them.
- Using the right methods to remove stains from items.
- Carrying out simple sewing tasks.
- Tracking which items belong to whom.
- Maintaining a current stock of sewing supplies and laundry detergents.
- Maintaining a record of laundry equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintaining the facilitys cleanliness at all times.
- Preparing for and responding to inquiries issues and complaints from customers.
- Keeping enough tokens or change on hand in case the washing and drying machines need it.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in a comparable role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents and laundry equipment.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance.
- Basic arithmetic abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Personable demeanor with a talent for customer service.
- Available for shift work and weekends.
