Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer with a passion for urban infrastructure to contribute to the planning design and delivery of major municipal projects. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of assignments that have a tangible impact on citizens quality of life working within multidisciplinary teams recognized for their expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and coordination of urban infrastructure projects including roadworks water distribution and sewer systems as well as urban developments and parks
- Carry out and/or review technical studies (road geometry drainage profiles pavement structures etc.)
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (environmental traffic structural geotechnical)
- Ensure projects comply with applicable provincial standards codes and guidelines
- Provide technical support during the construction phase
- Participate in discussions with municipal clients and partners and help maintain strong professional relationships
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) or eligible for registration
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience including municipal urban and/or provincial infrastructure projects in Canada.
- Strong knowledge of applicable standards codes and practices in New Brunswick
- Strong autonomy professional rigor and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for registration (an asset to support projects in Québec)
- Bilingual (English and French)
