Reporting to the National Used Cranes Manager the Project Coordinator - Used Cranes will be responsible for the end-to-end co-ordination of all incoming and outgoing Used Cranes. This role ensures machines are assessed repaired refurbished and delivered in a timely cost effective and profitable manner. The position works closely with Service Parts Admin and Sales departments to plan track and control repair activities while maintaining clear visibility over costs timelines and progress.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Workflow Coordination
- Coordinate the intake of all incoming used mobile cranes.
- Plan and manage inspections repairs refurbishments and compliance.
- Track and monitor progress to ensure projects are on track.
- Keeping our customers up to date with their cranes status in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales assistance and other duties as directed.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage project budgets for each used crane.
- Monitor actual costs against budget and identify risks.
- Control labor and parts expenditure with Service and Parts teams.
- Ensure accurate cost capture to protect profitability.
- Assist with workload planning and issue resolution.
- Analyze risks delays or budget issues early.
Quality & Delivery
- Ensure work meets Liebherr quality and safety standards.
- Support final inspections and readiness for sale or delivery.
- Assist with final handover documentation.
About you
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in project coordination or service operations
- Crane technical experience.
- Mechanical or automotive Electrical Trade Qualification
- Strong understanding of service workflows and cost control.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and organisational skills Team player.
- Able to travel Internationally and Interstate.
Systems & Tools (Desirable)
- ERP or service management systems.
- Microsoft Excel Outlook and Teams.
- Project tracking or scheduling tools.
