The Opportunity
In this pivotal role you will support the delivery of risk processes through analysis reporting coordination and daytoday risk management activities. Acting as a trusted risk advisor you will help protect and create value by providing expert insights oversight and challenge and support in promoting a strong sustainable risk culture across the business.
Reporting to the Manager Risk & Compliance you will work closely with senior leaders site management and operational teams to deliver bestpractice risk governance improve control environments and provide meaningful analysis to support strategic and operational decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of Corporate and Site Risk Workshops acting as a Risk Business Partner for select parts of the business
- Driving Positive Risk Culture
- Monitor risk performance capability and culture to support sustainable risk outcomes
- Apply a deep understanding of the risk framework including risk appetite governance process and systems
- Undertake Risk Analysis across a wide range of areas
- Provide the business guidance on control design implementation and monitoring activities
- Support GRC System uplift project and roll-out
- Preparing reporting for the Executive and Audit & Risk Committee on the above matters.
What is required
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Law Commerce or related fields highly regarded or substantial experience in risk management
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks preferably aligned to ISO 31000
- Demonstrated experience within risk management with experience or exposure to the Mining Mining Services Construction or Resource sectors highly regarded
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Demonstrated experience developing risk methodologies tools or frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in operational improvement initiatives and working with risk management systems and data analytics tools
- Exceptional report writing skills including board reporting
- Strong problem solving abilities and experience working in a dynamic environment
