Were looking for a MarTech Engineer based in LATAM to join the Tracking & Integrations Engineering team within a global data-driven organization.
This position sits at the intersection of Marketing Data Product and Engineering owning the implementation and governance of the tracking architecture across websites and mobile applications. Youll play a key role in ensuring that user interactions are correctly captured structured and delivered to downstream analytics and data platforms to enable accurate reporting experimentation and marketing optimization.
The ideal candidate brings strong front-end technical knowledge a methodical approach to tracking design and a clear understanding of how analytics product behavior and business objectives connect.

Requirements
What were looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Software Data Engineering Certification in related field
- Experience with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Strong experience with Google Tag Manager (required) or similar tag management systems.
- 23 years of experience with event streaming and messaging systems such as Segment (required) Kafka Kinesis or Rudderstack.
- Solid understanding of web metrics KPIs and tracking variables.
- Knowledge of JavaScript HTML JSON and DOM manipulation.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other querying languages.
- Experience working with front-end or analytics development tools.
- Experience performing tracking QA and supporting data integrity.
- Strong documentation and governance mindset.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of ETL / ELT processes.
Nice to have:
- Experience with tag audit and session replay tools (Tag Inspector Tealeaf Fullstory).
- Familiarity with testing and optimization platforms (Adobe Target Optimizely).
- Understanding of DMPs CDPs and Mobile SDK reporting tools (e.g. Firebase).
- Experience with marketing platforms (Google Marketing Platform Facebook Business Manager).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP).
- Experience with Snowflake and dbt.
Required Skills:
Work closely with Data Science Data Engineering Marketing and Product teams to define tracking requirements across web and mobile platforms. Partner with developers and product owners to implement event architecture and perform necessary quality assurance checks. Maintain documentation and governance of tracking architecture via Confluence. Implement additional tracking to support advertising and marketing journey tags. Provide troubleshooting support for analytics and data integrity issues. Ensure tracking QA during development and production cycles. Perform routine quality assurance checks to guarantee clean data for the Analytics team.
