Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic automotive operations this critical role you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of automotive parts and components throughout our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations including inventory audits stock replenishment and workflow coordination
- Monitor stock levels and alert management to low inventory or potential shortages to prevent production delays
- Receive inspect and log incoming automotive parts and materials ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards
- Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems; conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Organize and label storage areas to optimize space utilization and ensure quick error-free retrieval of parts
- Support outbound shipments by preparing orders packing and coordinating with logistics teams for timely dispatch
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean hazard-free work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Communicate effectively with team members suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations
- Demonstrate consistent punctuality reliability and a proactive approach to task completion
Requirements
Requirements:
- 57 years of proven experience in warehouse operations within the automotive industry of which 3 years would be in supervisory role
- Strong understanding of stock control principles cycle counting and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a high-volume deadline-driven environment
- Keen attention to detail with a consistent record of accuracy in data entry documentation and order fulfillment
- Punctual dependable and committed to maintaining a professional work ethic
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and compliance standards
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) barcode scanners and standard office software (MS Office)
- Must have valid drivers licence
