By joining us as aDirector Regulatory Compliance Asia Pacific (AP) you will support all Regulatory Compliance disciplines throughout the region and be responsible for program development governance oversight and execution as it relates to Regulatory Compliance requirements directives and standards. This leadership role has high visibility within both the AP region and global Emerson organizations.

- Lead the Asia Pacific Regulatory Compliance function including team development strategy deployment and program management and execution.
- Advise senior business leaders on APACspecific regulations and requirements (e.g. sanctions anticorruption trade controls environmental compliance).
- Oversee regional compliance councils annual site reviews and audit activities to ensure alignment and timely remediation.
- Act as APACs point of contact for regulatory inquiries escalations and governmentrelated matters.
- Support investigations of potential compliance violations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Partner with Legal HR Finance and global compliance leaders to drive consistent adoption of policies standards and tools.
- Lead and contribute to crossfunctional compliance projects and strategic initiatives across the region.

You serve as a strategic partner to build grow and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in International Trade Legal Business Finance or related field with relevancy to a compliance role
- 15 years of direct experience in a multi-national Regulatory Compliance related field
- 7 years direct experience supervising and leading people projects and/or programs
- Ability to travel up to 25% for success in the role
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Working knowledge of product environmental compliance regulations including REECH RoHS and IECE
- Working knowledge of information governance regulations including data privacy and product cyber security
- Working knowledge of Anti-Corruption legislation and due diligence processes
- Experience working in region and with local regulatory authorities
- Working knowledge of JDE Oracle E2Open and TradeSphere Exporter
