By joining us as a Analyst I International Trade Compliance you will ensure that the business units transactions are checked and compliant with the rules and regulation and Emersons policies on International Trade Compliance and provide support to the business units in managing its trade compliance program.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To ensure the Business Units (BU) transactions are screened and compliant with the rules and regulation and Emersons policies on International Trade Compliance

  • To ensure that the BU complies with the various rules of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) it utilizes by helping perform FTA qualification and solicitation.

  • To support the BUs annual USMCA supplier solicitation

  • To determine the eligibility of BUs products under various U.S. government-funded procurement laws such as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Buy American Act and various Buy America Acts

  • To provide tariff classification and analysis of the BUs products

  • To prepare a monthly broker scorecard for the BUs accredited brokers

  • To provide support to the BU in managing its trade compliance program.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors Degree in any course

  • At least 1year of experience in trade compliance product classification export transaction screening FTA and Country of Origin Management

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other web-based applications

  • USMCA Supplier solicitation

  • Understanding of business tools (e.g. Oracle Amber Road etc.)

  • Good analytical skills and keen attention to details

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart

  • Experience in international trade compliance will be an advantage
