Job Summary

The Common Area Attendant will provide a high level of cleanliness and service within common areas offices and back of house areas as needed.
- Works in Independent Living and Health Care of Glenaire and has knowledge of all aspects of cleaning procedures.
- Cleaning all public and employee restrooms to community standards.
- Acknowledge residents and colleagues in a pleasant manner.
- Follow security procedures regarding resident belongings.
- Stocking of all public area closets and proactive communication regarding stock levels.
- Report all maintenance concerns to a EVS Leader.
- Stock supplies and refill chemicals for Housekeeping cart for next day preparation.
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Has knowledge of infection control OSHA/SDS and hazardous chemicals and waste. Able to see that Environmental Service Department performs responsibilities to pass Health Department Inspections in cleanliness.
- Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
- Completes all special cleaning procedures that are scheduled for monthly weekly yearly cleaning.
- To perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the Director of Environmental Services
- Have high standards to safety cleanliness and the property of the residents of Glenaire.
