Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in hematology and oncology
- Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Hematology Oncology
- Associate level experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
1:5 call rotation
Daily Volume: 15-18 patients
Support Staff: Additional MDs APPs RNs and MAs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
