We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Polisher to deburr grind and polish sheet metal and castings in a manufacturing environment. Position Requirements

Familiarity with shop equipment and various power tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Job Responsibilities

The Metal Polisher role includes the following duties:

Deburr grind and polish sheet metal and metal castings
Use hand and power wheels/belts to polish brass bronze aluminum gold and silver
Read and interpret job travelers blueprints and drawings to determine finish requirements
Identify and correct defects to produce a smooth surface
Report defects to supervisor
Proper setup and operation of standard manufacturing equipment
Maintain high attention to detail and focus on the task
Comply with company standards and procedures for quality
Complete assigned work within timeframe and specifications

Physical Requirements

Use proper lifting techniques and lift up to 50 lbs
Perform physical job functions including standing walking bending pushing/pulling and manual dexterity
Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise dust and temperature fluctuations
