JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Arizona license required or proof of application; IMLC accepted

Board: BC/BE in Neurosurgery required

DEA: Active DEA required in Arizona

Certifications: BLS required

Experience: Experience in Level I trauma setting preferred

Other Qualifications: Ability to manage high-volume trauma cases

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide 24-hour neurosurgery call coverage for trauma cases

Perform emergency neurosurgical procedures as required

Evaluate and manage neurosurgical trauma patients

Provide inpatient consultations and surgical decision-making

Collaborate with trauma and multidisciplinary care teams

Document patient encounters and procedures in Cerner EMR
