Head of Digital & AI

Our Digital & AI team is a core growth engine at LGG. We build and lead technology-enabled transformations that make our clients faster smarter and more scalable - from data strategy and engineering to automation and AI adoption. As we scale were hiring a Head of Digital & AI to set the direction and grow the team.

DESCRIPTION

• Lead the Digital & AI department shaping the strategy structure and delivery model
  

• Hold meetings with potential clients and present solutions that meet their needs
  

• Work closely with clients to identify design and implement digital and data-driven solutions
  

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment
  

• Act as a strategic advisor to clients on emerging technologies and innovation opportunities
  

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement agility and excellence within the company
  

RESPONSABILITIES

• Define and execute the Digital & AI roadmap
  

• Oversee the planning and delivery of AI data tech and innovation projects
  

• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team (Data Engineers Data Analysts AI Engineers Front-end and Back-end Developers etc.)
  

• Proactively do business development to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients
  

• Ensure alignment between business goals and digital initiatives
  

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders ensuring client satisfaction
  

• Stay updated on tech trends and best practices in the financial services industry
  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Degree in Engineering Information Systems Data Science or similar
  
  
• 10 years in ML or Data engineering and proven experience in managing Digital & AI projects
  
  
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of engineers and delivering AI systems into production at scale
  
  
• Strong background in data architecture and agile methodologies
  
  
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  
  
• Strategic mindset with strong commercial and product awareness
  
  
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
  
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  
  
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
  
  
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain or equivalent fine-tuning large language models and building AI Agents
  
  
• Strong knowledge in tools such as Python SQL ML Libraries (Scikit learn Pytorch Keras etc.) Spark Airflow Bigquery Snowflake Databricks and similars
  
  
• Knowledge in visualization tools such as Powerbi Tableau Looker
  
  
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) Portuguese fluency NOT required
  
  
• Comfortable with engaging in Business Development efforts
  
  
• Availability to travel
  

DIFFERENTIALS

• Proven leadership in defining and delivering enterprise AI strategy including GenAI
  

• Experience translating AI opportunities into commercially impactful use cases at scale
  

• Experience in consulting or financial services is highly valued
  

• Certification in Agile/Scrum/Project Management
  

• Background as a Solutions Architect or AI Engineer
  
  
• Research background (e.g. PhD or prior academic researcher) with a hands-on practical mindset able to translate research thinking into real-world delivery
