Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Manager with 12 years of expertise in
manufacturing quality systems compliance and process excellence. The role will lead
the entire quality function ensuring implementation of robust quality systems
regulatory compliance certification management and continuous improvement across
operations. The incumbent will be responsible for strategic quality planning risk
management and driving a strong quality culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
Lead and manage the QA/QC department including manpower planning
capability building and performance management
Develop and implement organization-wide quality strategy aligned with
business goals
Establish and monitor Quality KPIs dashboards and performance metrics
Build a strong quality culture across production engineering procurement and
supply chain
Quality Systems & Compliance
Design implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line
with ISO 9001 BIS EN and relevant international standards
Lead certification audits surveillance audits and customer audits
Ensure compliance with statutory regulatory and customer-specific quality
requirements
Oversee document control systems SOPs and quality manuals
Operational Quality Control
Oversee incoming in-process and final quality inspections
Ensure eƯective validation of raw materials processes and finished
products
Approve product specifications quality plans and inspection protocols
Ensure proper calibration maintenance and validation of testing and
laboratory equipment
Risk Compliance & Governance
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Corrective Actions (CA) and Preventive
Actions (PA) for internal and external non-conformities
Manage customer complaints field failures and quality escalations
Drive risk assessment tools (FMEA Control Plans SPC CAPA frameworks)
Continuous Improvement & Excellence
Lead Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Implement process improvement defect reduction and cost-of-poor-quality
(COPQ) reduction programs
Drive digital quality transformation (ERP QA automation traceability systems)
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the central quality interface with Production Engineering R&D
Procurement Supply Chain Sales and Customers
Represent the organization in customer quality meetings audits and
regulatory discussions
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
BE/ Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Textile / Industrial Engineering
Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing quality functions
Strong expertise in:
o ISO 9001 BIS EN Standards
o Quality governance & compliance systems
o Internal & external audit management
o Certification & regulatory frameworks
Exposure to:
o ISO 17025 Module D CE compliance (added advantage)
o Lean Six Sigma TPM TQM methodologies
Strong leadership stakeholder management and decision-making skills
Excellent documentation reporting and communication abilities
ERP exposure (Oracle / SAP preferred)
