Role Overview:
The Head of Sales and Growth will be responsible for driving revenue growth developing go-to-market strategies and leading the sales team to achieve $20-40M revenue by Year 2.
Core Responsibilities:
Own and hit aggressive revenue targets
Build and lead a high-performance sales team
Establish sales processes pipelines and forecasting
Win high-value deals with clients such as banks telcos and government ministries
Build strategic partnerships with global hyperscalers (AWS Microsoft Google Cloud)
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
10 years in B2B enterprise sales with 5 years in senior revenue leadership roles (VP Sales CRO etc.)
Proven track record closing $5M deals in tech/software/AI services
Experience selling to enterprises and government in Africa
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
Required Skills:
7 years in solutions architecture or pre-sales engineering Proven track record supporting $1M enterprise deals Expertise in AI/ML concepts and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) Advanced certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Google Cloud etc.) are a plus
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
