About this Position:
Our Client is a technology driven company delivering high impact artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to enterprise and government clients. The Head of Research and Development will lead R&D initiatives drive innovation in AI and develop proprietary AI platforms and models to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct research into global AI demand trends and identify opportunities
- Define the companys R&D priorities aligned with business goals
- Lead the creation of reusable AI platforms frameworks and models
- Oversee rapid prototyping of new AI solutions
- Publish thought leadership and represent the company at global conferences
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years in AI/ML with 5 years leading research teams
- Proven track record of turning research into production systems
- Expertise in cutting-edge AI (LLMs agentic systems multimodal models etc.)
Education Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science Machine Learning or a related field
- Experience managing R&D budgets and teams in high-growth environments
