Job Description

This is a seasonal position earning$17.85 - 18.50/hr (depending on experience). Openings are available at the West Kelowna location and the Kelowna location on KLO Road.

Join our dynamic team and a thriving retail environment! Our Greenhouse team provides excellent customer service to customers shopping for annuals vegetables edible plants and tropicals with a strong focus on plant knowledge and growing success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Exceptional Customer Service: Delight our customers with expert advice and personalized guidance particularly related to vegetable gardening edible plants and tropical care to help them make confident choices.
• Plant Care and Maintenance: Be the guardian of our greenery! Youll ensure our plants thrive by meticulously tending to their needs including monitoring watering temperature light & overall health of vegetable and tropical crops.
• Hands-On Plant Production: Dive into the heart of our operation as you assist in the unloading and restocking of plants ensuring our inventory is always fresh and abundant.
• Product Expertise: Become a trusted advisor as you recommend and cross-sell premium products including fertilizers soil and crop-specific or tropical-specific gardening solutions to enhance our customers gardening experience.
• Problem Solving and Support: Rise to the challenge of resolving customer concerns with empathy and efficiency providing comprehensive solutions and valuable information to ensure their satisfaction.
• Workspace Pride: Take ownership of maintaining clean organized and inviting work areas reflecting our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operation.

Experience / Education: Amateur gardeners experienced and master gardeners passionate plant people and those with hands-on experience or strong interest in vegetable gardening edible crops or tropical plants are encouraged to apply!

Youll experience a diverse and engaging work environment - be prepared for physical exertion including lifting up to 20 lbs squatting bending and extended periods of walking/standing.
