Position Summary
As Asset Quality Inspector (Field Technician) you will be responsible for physically inspecting new refurbished and repaired vehicles to ensure they meet company standards before deployment or redeployment. This role serves as the final checkpoint to confirm asset readiness mechanical soundness and overall quality before assets are handed over for operations.
New Vehicle Inspection
Inspect newly delivered vehicles from vendors/OEMs.
Check engine performance electricals body condition tyres brakes and suspension.
Identify defects or damages before acceptance.
Confirm vehicles meet company quality standards before sign-off.
Inspect repaired and refurbished vehicles before release.
Confirm that all assigned repairs were properly completed.
Test ride vehicles where necessary.
Ensure replacement parts are properly installed and functional.
Flag poor workmanship immediately.
Confirm asset is mechanically sound.
Ensure tracker installation is complete and functioning.
Verify documentation and basic accessories are complete.
Sign off on assets before they are deployed to riders.
Reporting & Escalation
Maintain inspection records for all assets reviewed.
Report recurring technical issues.
Escalate substandard repair work to Operations and Supply Chain.
Track rejected assets and follow up on rework completion.
3 years hands-on experience working on motorcycles/tricycles.
Strong understanding of engine systems and vehicle components.
Ability to test ride and diagnose basic faults.
High attention to detail and accountability.
Must be comfortable working in workshop and field environments.
Preferred Profile
Former workshop technician or mechanic.
Experience working with fleet operators is an advantage.

Required Skills:
Requirements Bachelors degree in any discipline Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain procurement or logistics operations. Good knowledge of procurement processes supplier management and logistics coordination. Ability to analyze data and generate insights for operational efficiency. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
