School Psychologist Maternity Leave Coverage Illinois Elementary School
Schedule: Full-time school-based position
Grade Levels Served: Kindergarten 5th Grade
Assignment Dates: Tentatively April 6 through May 21 (end of the school year)
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to fill a temporary School Psychologist position at an Elementary School. This assignment will provide maternity leave coverage and offers an excellent opportunity to support elementary students within a collaborative and student-centered learning environment.
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to support the academic social emotional and behavioral development of elementary students. This role includes conducting student evaluations collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
The selected professional will work closely with teachers administrators families and support staff to promote student success and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Position Details:
- Participate in eligibility IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance timelines.
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and interpret assessment data.
- Assist in the development of intervention and behavioral support plans.
- Provide consultation and recommendations to support student learning and behavior.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to address academic and social-emotional needs.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology and possess an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement or be eligible for licensure. Prior experience working in an elementary school setting is preferred. Strong assessment communication and collaboration skills are essential.
