Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manager of Human Resources to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in rebuilding and optimizing existing human resources functions across multiple business units.
The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for:
Crafting and implementing an organizational talent strategy to drive team building culture and strategic goals.
Leading and continuously developing an internal-focused HR team.
Serving as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team.
Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will collaborate closely with other members of the Executive Team.
Critical Accountabilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing executing monitoring and evaluating the organizational talent strategy and compensation program.
Building leading and continually developing the Human Resources function.
Negotiating Employment and Consulting Agreements.
Championing and fostering the desired organizational culture with a strong focus on the overall employee experience.
Acting as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on talent-related issues.
Providing analytical support strategic insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
Managing talent-related compliance and risk issues across multiple states.
Developing and monitoring department resources and budgets.
Qualification & ExperienceRequired Qualifications
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources Industrial/Organizational Psychology Organizational Development Adult Education Business or a related field.
10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in the US including significant exposure to multiple state regulations.
3 years of experience interacting with executive teams and/or boards of directors.
3 years of experience managing and driving complex change and/or program initiatives.
Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and the Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant HR certification (e.g. SHRP CHRE PHR SPHR).
Masters degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources Business Organizational Development or a related field.
3 years of people management experience.
Compensation
Compensation for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidates experience qualifications and alignment with the roles requirements.
