Overview

Personal Household Assistant Manhattan

Our clients are seeking a Personal Household Assistant to provide high-level hospitality and household support for a private residence in Manhattan with flexibility to support additional properties in New York the Hamptons and out of state as needed. This is a hands-on service-driven role supporting daily household operations and ensuring a seamless welcoming experience for principals and guests. The ideal candidate is upbeat spunky and brings a great attitude to everything they do while maintaining a warm polished and professional presence. This individual is dependable detail-oriented hospitality-minded and able to flex with changing needs and schedules with a genuine positive can-do approach to service.

Location: Manhattan with regular flexibility to work in the Hamptons Long Island and out of state properties as needed
Schedule: TuesdaySaturday with the ability to regularly work one weekend day per week (Sunday flexibility a plus); 4050 hours per week
Compensation: $45 per hour full benefits

Responsibilities include:

Providing elevated meal service and front-of-house support
Assisting with table setting service clearing and reset
Managing household inventory and supplies
Running errands and handling ad hoc requests
Supporting general household needs with a proactive detail-oriented approach
Traveling with the family frequently sometimes ahead of them and sometimes alongside them

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in luxury hospitality or private service required (e.g. chief stewardess household assistant or similar) note that a yachting background is strongly preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be based in NYC or willing to relocate (no housing provided; relocation assistance will be offered)
Must have strong employment references and be willing to undergo a thorough background check
Valid passport and willing to travel regularly
