Job Summary

Position Overview:

The Early Intervention Program Manager position oversees Housing Location Intake Coordinator and RapidReHousingCase Managers. This position supervises approximately seven direct service staff. This positionis responsible forensuring these initiatives are developed and implemented in alignment with best practices and are compliantwith all contractual obligations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision leadership and support to the approximately seven staff providing direct services to people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and case consultation for staff.
  • Conduct regular team meetings that foster mutual support professional development and quality service provision for the team.
  • Establish andmaintainactive working relationships with community partners and funders.
  • Represent Agate in meetings with agencies businesses government funders and community partners.
  • Manage the financial resources of the initiatives within the budget.
  • Ensure quality file keeping and case documentation by direct service staff.
  • Oversee program reporting ensuring that programs are on track to meet contractual goals.
  • Ensure that services offered are compliant with Federal State and County guidelines and contract requirements.
  • Respond to changing communityneeds andincorporate best practices throughout the programs.
  • Ensure thatthe requiredevaluation systems are in place.
  • Must be able to attend home visits and apartment showings with clients including units that may only be accessible by climbing stairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing programs and supervising staff.
  • Ability to develop and implementnew programs.
  • Ability to oversee several program initiatives involving staff supervision program evaluation contract compliance and budget oversight.
  • Ability to instruct and lead staff with respect clear communicationexpectations and modeling.
  • Ability to model and support staff in establishing rapport quickly with people experiencing a crisis throughuseof trauma informed care client centered care andstrengths-based approaches.
  • A strong and comprehensive understanding of the Coordinated Entry System in Hennepin County and how each of the programsintersectwith that system.
  • Ability to supervise staff thatare supportinghouseholds in accessing andmaintaininghousing.
  • Ability to ensure staff are meeting expectationsregardingpaperwork and documentation through organizational skills a strong attention to detail the ability to work efficiently and accurately are knowledgeable and proficient using technology and computers.
  • Be able toaccompanystaff on home visitsincluding toapartments that may only be accessible through climbing stairs.
  • Haveexperience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Haveavalid Drivers Licenseandaccess to a safe and reliable vehicle.

This position requires use of your own personal vehicle and will require insurance liability coverage of at least one hundred thousand dollars per person and three hundred thousand dollars per occurrence and must have a valid Drivers License and pass a driving record check.
