Job Summary

As the AI Project/Program Manager you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of GenAI initiatives across multiple workstreams managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Job Description

We are looking for an AI Project/Program Manager to lead and deliver GenAI programs using Agile methodologies. This position will be full-time hybrid and based in Bangalore.

What Youll Do

Agile Program Management & Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple GenAI initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies ensuring alignment with TEIS strategic objectives
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning daily standups retrospectives demos) for distributed engineering teams across platform development governance frameworks and business unit AI solutions
Maintain product backlogs track sprint velocity and burn-down charts in JIRA/Confluence and implement continuous improvement practices
Coordinate cross-functional teams (backend/frontend engineers AI developers DevOps QA) and manage dependencies across workstreams

Stakeholder Management & Communication
Serve as primary liaison between India AI CoE and TEIS leadership business unit stakeholders and executives
Conduct regular status updates manage expectations communicate risks proactively and translate technical complexity into business-friendly language
Drive user adoption through effective change management training coordination and stakeholder engagement strategies

Risk Resource & Budget Management
Identify and mitigate project risks related to technical dependencies resource constraints and timeline pressures
Optimize resource allocation track project budgets manage vendor relationships and implement chargeback models for business unit-specific solutions
Maintain risk registers change logs and ensure adherence to security compliance and governance requirements.

What Youll Need

Required

6-9 years in technical project management with 3 years in AI/ML cloud platforms or enterprise software
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) PMI-ACP PMP or equivalent Agile/Scrum certifications
Proven track record delivering Agile/Scrum projects with distributed teams and multiple concurrent workstreams
Strong expertise in JIRA Confluence sprint planning backlog grooming and Agile metrics (velocity burn-down charts)
Solid understanding of SDLC CI/CD pipelines cloud deployment (AWS/Azure) and GenAI technologies (LLMs RAG APIs)
Knowledge of microservices architecture API development and MLOps concepts
Proven ability to deliver results in ambiguous fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills engaging technical teams business users and executives
Strong negotiation conflict resolution and ability to build trusted relationships across geographies
Experience presenting to senior leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations
Ability to mentor team members and drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices

Preferred

Experience with portfolio management change management and financial planning/operations
Understanding of AI governance frameworks security compliance (SOC 2) and data privacy regulations
AWS/Azure cloud certifications or training in AI/ML fundamentals
Experience managing vendor contracts and contract resource coordination

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
