Job Overview
The Annuities Services Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our annuity clients and this role they will respond to inquiries process transactions issue new annuity contracts and support claim handling while ensuring a superior customer experience that drives strong client retention. Working with minimal supervision the role brings empathy accuracy and problemsolving skills to every interaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for annuity inquiries via phone and email.
- Respond to incoming calls as part of the Call Centre team.
- Process a wide range of annuity transactions including new contract setup withdrawals fund rebalancing and death claim documentation.
- Provide clients with clear guidance and available retirement options when their contracts reach maturity.
- Ensure all activities and documentation meet regulatory audit and company compliance standards.
- Identify and report system issues to the appropriate teams.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years experience in an administrative or customer service capacity in an office environment.
- Knowledge of RRSP LIRA RRIF non-registered products and life annuities.
- Ability to apply product knowledge to client inquiries and annuity administration tasks.
- Excellent prioritization time and deadline management while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the right level for the audience including by telephone.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and independence finding information.
- Demonstrated strict confidentiality and adherence to all privacy and informationsecurity policies.
- Willing to enroll in or actively pursuing the ACS and/or ALMI designation.
- Experience within an investment-related role is an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
