Job Summary

Role Purpose

This role exists to deliver high-impact client outcomes by owning defined scopes of work with clarity pace and precision. Consultants are accountable for delivering client-ready outputs that protect profitability maintain schedules and build trust in Strubers standards. You own your tasks end to end ensuring delivery is accurate timesheets are on time and risks are flagged early with solutions. At this level you are trusted to deliver independently within scope and escalate only when a decision is irreversible.

You support Associate Seniors and Seniors by maximising your billable contribution collaborating effectively and mentoring Coordinators. You are accountable for adopting disciplined habits that uphold Strubers non-negotiables and strengthen delivery performance. Most importantly you live the Struber Way building the behaviours and standards that drive culture and create Bright Impact for clients and the business.

Key Responsibilities (What You Own)

As a Consultant you deliver defined work across the full infrastructure lifecycle from idea to end-of-life balancing objectives managing detail and supporting stakeholder needs at every stage. You create impact in every project touchpoint by delivering with clarity pace and precision. Your role is not just to execute but to protect the standards behind Strubers guarantees and help grow the business through the way you deliver collaborate and make magic happen.

Project Management and Leadership

  • Plan and deliver your assigned tasks within the project plan. You make sure your work aligns to the agreed scope measures and delivery rhythm and you escalate risks early when gaps appear.
  • Deliver project work using Strubers 7 Step Methodology with structure pace and control.
  • Apply and promote Struber Agents and Full Kits to lift quality reduce risk and maximise efficiency by driving systems-first processes leveraging AI tools and using Full Kits effectively.
  • Maintain pace and quality while delivering on or above margin.
  • Track and escalate risks opportunities and critical decisions resolving them with guidance.
  • Keep schedules up to date prioritising billable work and resolving clashes early.

Clients and Stakeholders

  • Build trusted relationships with client contacts that encourage repeat work.
  • Translate complexity into clear client-ready updates and recommendations.
  • Lead parts of onboarding workshops and presentations to create clarity and connection.
  • Contribute to proposals variations and pitches with timely relevant inputs.
  • Be known visible and valuable your delivery should make clients want to work with Struber again.

Business Performance and Growth

  • Deliver projects within commercial targets supporting a 65% Contribution Margin.
  • Stay alert to scope signals and raise them early in WIPs and Pipeline chats.
  • Provide inputs to commercial decisions on scope resourcing and delivery approach.

Quality and Risk

  • Deliver work to Strubers client-ready standard.
  • Conduct quality checks on your deliverables before submission.
  • Anticipate risks within your scope and raise them early with potential solutions.

People and Culture

  • Mentor Coordinators through sharing tools tips and structured feedback.
  • Participate in collaboration days WIPs MMMs and team rituals.
  • Uphold Strubers behaviours and brand promises.

Reporting Lines and Key Relationships

  • Reports to: Senior Consultant / Associate Director
  • Key Internal Relationships: Project Leads Consultants Delivery Ops
  • Key External Relationships: Clients suppliers project stakeholders

Decision-Making Authority

  • Can manage scope delivery approach and client engagement within agreed budgets.
  • You are trusted to make decisions that drive progress and strengthen client satisfaction seeking oversight only when a decision is irreversible or fundamentally alters the projects direction at your level of responsibility
  • Must escalate scope changes margin risks or significant client concerns to senior team members.

Growth Pathway

This role leads toward Associate Senior Consultant based on delivery impact leadership behaviours and commercial contribution. Growth supported through Struber Pathways Process quarterly reviews coaching Struber School and on-the-job learning.
