Director of Maintenance: Grand Opening Team!
As the Director of Maintenance at Chick-fil-A10th Ave. Northyou will be protecting and maintaining our brand. As a leader on the team you will have the privilege to enrich and impacthundreds of lives in the Lake Worth area. Our mission is to create a caring refuge where we can make others feel uniquely valued. You will be responsible for being a steward of our equipment and vendor relationships. You will also support the Director team to ensure we have the right tools and support to continue operations on a consistent basis.90-95% of work will be on-site and 5-10% off-site. Hours of availability would be Monday-Friday 5am-3pm. Work would not exceed 40 hours per week.
Base Salary: $25/hr for 40 hours a week plus great benefits!

- Learning our responsibility matrix (who is responsible for fixing what)
- Oversee exterior lot and general building maintenance
- Coordinate with Chick-fil-A Corp and vendors to fix issues requiring specialized licensing and expertise
- Learn how the in-store equipment works what the maintenance requirements are and ensure proactive maintenance is being done.
- Following a monthly routine to ensure equipment building and exterior lot is up to brand standards
Responsibilities include:
- Helping leadership expedite equipment and/or maintenance issues that might arise
- Owning R&M decisions and communicate with Owner
- Maintaining various reports and general administrative duties related to repairs
- Controlling general expenses within scope of work to avoid IPO (incremental profit opportunity) issues
Requirements Include:
- Generally considered handy with maintenance even of unfamiliar equipment
- General understanding of HVAC and power equipment in order to troubleshoot simple issues and provide general maintenance
- Willing to learn on the job to increase knowledge of all store equipment and maintenance
- High integrity and character
- Optimistic in adversity
- Values precise work and attention to details
- Ability to interact well with internal and external customers employees and vendors in a highly professional manner
- Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism to handle sensitive information and private materials concerning the organization
- Bi-lingual preferred but not needed
- Chick-fil-A experience is a plus but not required
Your first 90 days will look like this:
- Week 1: Bread chicken (its kinda important to know around here) and learn other kitchen operations for the week
- Week 2: Deliver fast & accurate service in the Drive-Thru and learn other important front of house operations
- Week 3: You get the keys to the store in order to learn and perform 3 openings and 2 closings with a supervisor
- Week 4: Create timelines related to goals and responsibilities with the Operator
- Month 2: Start creating systems and processes to execute goals related to established timelines
- Month 3 & continued time: Review execution to benchmark against predetermined goals and timelines
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25/hr for 40 hours a week
- 401K contributions match 5%:4% after 90 days
- Monthly fitness reimbursement up to $25
- Free food one meal available per day of work
- 50% off personal catering orders
- Start immediately accruing 2 weeks paid time off
- Partial phone bill reimbursement of $25/month
- Health dental and vision plans with an additional $300 monthly subsidy towards the health plan of your choice after a 2 week wait period.
- Sundays off.
- Annual hospitality weekend (1 night) at The Ben or 1 night at The Breakers. The choice of a hotel must be an off-season rate not to exceed $500 in total.
- Annual 2 tickets to your choice of a regular season Miami Heat Florida Panthers or a Miami Dolphins must be purchased in advance and not for premium seats ex: floor seats box seats ect..
