Job Summary
Position Title:Dialysis Technician (CCHT / CHT)
Location:Neptune NJ
Pay:$27/hr
Position Type:Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift:Day Shift 36 Hours per Week
Schedule:
- 4 Days per Week
- M/W/F: 5:45 AM 1:30 PM
- T/Th/Sat: 5:45 AM 4:30 PM
- Every Other Saturday Required
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Dialysis Technicianfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Neptune NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Dialysis Technician experience
- CCHT or CHT certification required
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification
- Experience with Fresenius T Machines
- Strong vascular access cannulation skills
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Monitoring
- Perform pre- and post-dialysis assessments including vital signs and vascular access evaluation
- Cannulate vascular access sites and monitor for complications
- Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient response and intervene as needed
- Administer Heparin as permitted by state law
- Ensure hemostasis and proper dressing post-treatment
Dialysis Machine Operation
- Set up and program dialysis machines per treatment orders
- Perform safety checks and monitor machine alarms
- Monitor arterial and venous pressures during treatment
Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately document treatment parameters and patient responses
- Report significant changes in condition promptly
- Maintain compliance with CMS and facility standards
Infection Control & Equipment Maintenance
- Clean and disinfect dialysis equipment and treatment areas
- Maintain organized and safe clinical environment
