Position Summary
The AP/AR Operations Manager (Multi-Entity) is responsible for overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations across six companies. This role provides leadership process standardization and continuous improvement to ensure AP/AR functions are accurate timely compliant and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day AP/AR operations across six companies ensuring timely and accurate processing and resolution of AP/AR inquiries and issues.
- Lead coach and support AP/AR staff to ensure consistent performance accountability and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to create uniform AP/AR workflows documentation standards and internal controls across all entities.
- Maintain appropriate approval vendor management and payment controls to support compliance and reduce operational risk.
- Partner with the Accounting Director Controllers and leadership to communicate status resolve escalations and support operational priorities.
- Develop and maintain clear procedures and reporting to support visibility into AP/AR performance and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate staffing capacity and recommend adjustments based on workload performance metrics and business needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading AP/AR operations in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong leadership communication and process improvement capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to implement standardized processes and drive operational consistency.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
