Job Summary

Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA

Prudential Healthcare is seeking a Home Health PTA to join our team serving the Southern California area. As a PTA youll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement personalized therapy programs. Youll assist patients with exercises mobility techniques and activities to improve their physical strength mobility and overall quality of lifeall while working independently in the field. Prudentialprovides home health professionals for the local area including Cerritos Ranchos Palos Verdes Long Beach Torrance Los Alamitos Lakewood San Pedro and many others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with prescribed physical therapy exercises and treatments
  • Monitor patients progress and provide feedback to the supervising PT Educate patients and caregivers on exercises techniques and safety precautions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
  • Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Assist with patient evaluations and goal setting as directed by the PT Participate in on-call rotation (if required)

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in CA
  • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience (home health preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines a plus
  • EMR experience preferred

Flexible work from home options available.

Pay: $50-$65 per hour
