First Shift (United States of America)Inpatient Pharmacist - Bellevue Medical Center
Nebraska Medicine is hiring an Inpatient Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at the Bellevue Medical Center. This role is part of a close-knit inpatient operation where pharmacists work directly with providers nurses and pharmacy colleagues to support safe effective medication use across the hospital. You will play a hands-on role in patient care clinical decision-making and daily pharmacy operations in a setting that values teamwork accountability and trust.
Role Highlights
Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmaceutical care including order review monitoring and clinical recommendations
Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and care teams to support safe medication use
Participate in patient education medication reconciliation and transitions of care
Support pharmacy operations quality initiatives and precepting learners as needed
Shift
Full-Time 40 hours per week
Primarily first shift with some second-shift coverage
Weekend rotation typically every 4th weekend
On-site at Bellevue Medical Center

Provide the highest quality patient care. Supervise pharmacy services in assigned patient care area and ensure all medication related patient and care provider needs are met. Work proactively as a member of a team(s) to ensure the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care. Demonstrate a dedication to continual and constant quality improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program as deemed appropriate for patient facing roles and relevant to practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred.
Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
