About the role
The Carer Engagement Officer facilitates social and educational events and outings for carers with a focus on Carer wellbeing. The events will include day trips guest speaker leisure & lifestyle activities suitable for Carers of varying ages.
This role reports to the Manager Carer Support a part time 3 days per week flexibility with days required this role can be based in either Wangaratta or Shepparton.
About you
Ideally you will be experienced in developing and delivering innovative engaging programs and events suited to Carer Support programs and have a working knowledge of Carer Services preferably hold a tertiary qualification Cert IV Leisure & Lifestyle or Disability or Community however lived experience will be high regarded.
