We are seeking a Part-Time Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing therapy team in the Wichita area. This role provides skilled occupational therapy evaluations and treatment services to patients in their homes helping them improve functional abilities safety and overall quality of life.
Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to address ADLs IADLs mobility strength coordination cognition and safety
Assess home environments and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment as needed
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Accurately document evaluations treatments and patient responses in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals safety strategies and home exercise programs
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated comprehensive care
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as applicable
Maintain compliance with all professional ethical and regulatory requirements
Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (required)
Active Kansas Occupational Therapist license through the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) (required)
Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
Excellent communication and time-management abilities
Compassionate dependable and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently in a home health setting
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
