Job Summary
Senior InvestigatorFull-time Permanent North Parramatta & Sydney CBD Hybrid Uniting is seeking a highly experienced and values-driven Senior Investigator to lead complex sensitive investigations across our is a critical role that safeguards the people we support and strengthens our culture of accountability integrity and transparency across regulated programs and is an opportunity for an investigator who combines technical expertise with compassion sound judgement and the ability to navigate highly sensitive matters with professionalism and will lead end-to-end investigations into reportable conduct serious misconduct and critical incidents applying trauma-informed child-safe and legally compliant practices at all will also mentor other investigators contribute to safeguarding initiatives and play an important role in Unitings Speak Up and Whistleblower youll be responsible forAs Senior Investigator you will:Lead complex investigations from intake through to outcomeApply trauma-informed child-safe and procedurally fair investigation practicesConduct root cause analysis and identify systemic risks and improvementsProvide clear practical advice and recommendations to senior leadersSupport and respond to whistleblower disclosures with integrity and careMentor and guide investigators to uphold best practice standardsContribute to safeguarding projects and strategic improvement initiativesMaintain accurate case management records and support internal and external reportingWhat youll bringBachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years experience conducting complex investigations (regulatory criminal child protection or workplace)Strong knowledge of the NSW Reportable Conduct Scheme and child protection legislationExpertise in evidence gathering including interviewing children and vulnerable peopleSound judgement discretion and the ability to manage highly sensitive mattersExcellent problem-solving negotiation mediation and conflict resolution skillsA solid understanding of WHS and risk management principles in investigative workAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a team environmentDesirablePostgraduate qualifications in investigationsKnowledge of child development and trauma-informed practiceExperience in internal integrity or misconduct investigations How to applyPlease send your CV and Cover letter via the job advertisement platform as this ensuresaccuratetracking of your more information please contactLouise Massie We Offer YouA rewarding career with a leading human services to $18550 NFP salary packaging to our U rewards program with exclusive work hours for work-life to Fitness Passport Live your best life.A supportive inclusive and collaborative work for professional contributes to the work and mission of the Uniting Church in NSW and the ACT through social justice advocacy community services and spiritual care.
