The primary work will involve the analysis and publication of tracking data on Arctic shorebirds (tagged at Utqiaǵvik Alaska and in Iowa) and a long-term dataset on Mountain Plovers in Montana (1995 to present); other bird/wildlife datasets will be explored as there is time and interest. Some of the data have been analyzed and partially written up providing opportunities for multiple near-term manuscript submissions. The postdoc will be housed in NREM and will work with collaborators in Alaska.
An earned Ph.D. at the time of appointment in Wildlife Ecology Conservation Biology or a related natural resource discipline excellent quantitative skills and demonstrated scientific writing/publishing experience.
