Job Description:

The Digital Transformation Strategy (DTS) Communications team within Digital Business and Technology Solutions drives the narrative of digital innovation and Client impact. We provide expert guidance and support in crafting and disseminating compelling stories across the organization.

Role Summary:

The Communications Specialist will join the DTS Communications team to drive recognition engagement and consistency of messaging across our global Digital Transformation Strategy team. This dynamic role involves creating compelling content for internal and external events developing storytelling materials and collaborating on various projects.

Term Length: 4-months (May 2026 - August 2026)

What will you do

• Assist in creating content for internal events such as town halls and roadshows showcasing DTS capabilities.
• Support the development of storytelling materials including report narratives digital content and presentations.
• Collaborate with team members to develop engaging multimedia content such as videos and demos for various communication channels.
• Help draft and edit communications for new initiatives and tools.
• Research and identify potential external award opportunities and assist in preparing nomination submissions.
• Support the implementation of change management plans for enterprise GenAI tools including tracking and reporting on adoption rates.
• Assist in organizing and promoting AI and Data upskilling initiatives to support GenAI skills development and adoption.
• Help maintain and update the GenAI Centre of Excellence Confluence site ensuring content is current and relevant.

What do you need to succeed

• Working towards a degree/diploma in Journalism Communications Marketing Business or related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (clarity storytelling active listening skills content creation presentation skills writing skills)
• Proficient in Microsoft business software in particular PowerPoint Word and Excel
• Comfortable working with Adobe software (nice to have).
• Familiarity with or interest in AI and data technologies (nice to have).
• Experience with content management systems like Confluence (nice to have).
• Interest in change management and technology adoption (nice to have).

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.

Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance
