Accor has a strong ambition: to reinvent the travel experience by focusing on personalization and a strong brand identity. Achieving this is the obsession of the Digital Department: a team dedicated to defining and implementing the future of the Accor Product Experience.
Reporting to the Product Design team and under the supervision of the Lead Product Designer Ecom Convert you will be assigned daily to topics directly related to optimizing the booking funnel for hospitality services.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team (Product Tech Business UX Content Design System User Research) and will be responsible for ensuring the experience engagement and usability.
Your mission:
Define and justify a multichannel and intuitive digital experience with our product teams.
Detect weak signals: Collaborate with Product Owners (POs) Product Managers (PMs) and User Researchers to investigate and clarify user expectations identifying opportunities to seize. You will also need to capture and share trends that should inspire our approach.
Anchor design into our practices: Advocate for the right approach within your squads and facilitate the teams work by applying tailored methodologies to design the best possible user experience.
Build and improve: Transition from fluid ideas to robust prototypes. You and your team will balance user testing iterative work and continuous improvement of your deliverables.

- By understanding business and user challenges and translating them into opportunities.
- By challenging and integrating business objectives into your work.

Discovery - Understand user problems and design the best possible experiences:
- By framing topics alongside your PO or PM.
- By de-risking opportunities through quantitative and qualitative research to identify and refine problems and expectations (data analysis tactical surveys user interviews or testing).
- By formalizing user insights into deliverables tailored for product stakeholders (e.g. personas JTBD - Jobs To Be Done).
- By exploring and designing multiple solutions supported by measurable KPIs developed collaboratively during stakeholder workshops.
- By testing and validating selected solutions with users (user testing or A/B testing).
Delivery - Ensure smooth and high-quality delivery by supporting the product team:
- By being a key player in delivery quality through close collaboration with POs and developers (high-quality handoffs thorough QA etc.).
- By leveraging the Design System as both a contributor and guardian of its consistency.
- By staying attentive to user needs and ensuring continuous product improvement through appropriate analysis and research techniques (Analytics Customer Support feedback A/B testing etc.).
Continuous Improvement & Monitoring - Streamline Design workflows:
- By adapting your working methods to align with project ambitions and deadlines.

Qualifications :

- Graduated from a top engineering or business school (generalist IT-oriented) or with a specialized
- Masters degree in Design.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different departments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present analytical results.
- Proficient in user experience design both strategically and operationally and able to communicate it to both expert and non-expert audiences.
- Mastery of methodologies and tools related to Product Design.
- At least 6 years of successful experience as a Product Designer.
- Professional background in B2C and e-commerce environments.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to lead and prioritize team work.
- Empathy active listening and a pedagogical approach are key values for you.
- Proficient in Figma and familiar with using a Design System.
- Fluent in English (presentations conducted in English).
- Strong ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
