What youbring:

  • At least2years experience in asales andservice environment including6monthsofgeneral insuranceexperience including travel and automobile insurance

  • Level 1Insurance licensewitha commitment tosecureyourLevel 2Insurance license withinyour first 12 months of employment. BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.

  • Completion ofAutoplanEssentialsora commitmenttocompletewithinyour first3months. BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.

  • Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.

  • Comfortable using technology includingworkingknowledge of MS Office (Word ExcelPowerPointOutlook)

  • Bonus qualifications!Experience selling home insurance knowledge of ICBC systemsand ability to speakother languages aside from English.

During a typical day you will:

  • Work with team memberstorecommendBCAAinsuranceproducts and services to current and newcustomersto meet their needs.Youllhelp them secure and/or renew their policiesby reviewingcurrent coverage and making recommendationsin person and over the phone.

  • Collaborate with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to assess and recommend the right coverage for our customers.

  • Achieve sales and productivity goalswhile upholdingBCAA andAAA/CAAMember experiencegoalsandunderwriting guidelines.

  • Managecustomeraccounts and documentation from processing payments to issuingnewrenewalendorsementsand cancellations forInsurance policies BCAA Memberships andadditionalproducts and services.

  • Increaseyour industry knowledge andexpertisetowards becominga Senior Insurance Advisorwithin 12 months.Youllparticipatein BCAAs training coursesmaintainannual licensingrequirementsandkeepup to date withthe latestprocessesproductsand service offerings in the insurance industryin a supportive environment.

The salary range for this position is $46768.44to $58460.52and isdeterminedviajob-related knowledge skills experience certifications marketdemandand internal addition to base salary and BCAA benefits this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5% with the opportunity to earn up to 21.5%.
