About the role
Safe drinking water begins long before it reaches the tap. Everyone in Western Australia relies on safe secure drinking water and that safety starts in our catchments. Across WAs vast and varied landscapes Water Corporation manages over 120 drinking water sources that support towns communities and industries statewide. Protecting these sources is essential to public health and the resilience of our water supply.
Were looking for a Technical Advisor Source Protection to join our dedicated team in this role youll work alongside regional staff catchment rangers and water quality experts to understand local challenges and put practical science-based strategies in place that ensure the ongoing protection of WAs drinking water sources. Working collaboratively with regional operations and water quality stakeholders you will help assess risks guide land use decisions and champion the protection of our precious drinking water sources.
The role includes occasional travel to regional locations so a valid WA Drivers Licence is required.
