What Youll Do
Based in Sydney youll lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact engagements across:
- Risk transformation including uplift of enterprise-wide risk capabilities
- Operational risk and controls design implementation and optimisation
- Operational resilience frameworks scenario testing and readiness assessments
- Regulatory and compliance advisory including APRA/ASIC matters
In this senior leadership role you will:
Provide strategic leadership
- Shape engagement strategy set direction for project teams and ensure delivery excellence.
- Advise senior executives on best practice governance risk and resilience.
Drive complex problem solving
- Leverage KPMGs global methodologies insights and data to solve clients most critical challenges.
- Translate complex risk issues into actionable business-aligned recommendations.
Build trusted relationships
- Engage directly with Boards Chief Risk Officers and functional executives.
- Lead workshops executive briefings and present compelling client-ready insights.
Grow and develop people
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level team members.
- Foster a high-performing inclusive team culture.
Lead business development
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships.
- Contribute to proposals thought leadership and go-to-market initiatives.

You are an experienced strategic risk professional with a passion for helping organisations thrive in a challenging environment.
You bring:
- Experience in operational risk controls advisory enterprise risk internal audit or regulatory environments (APRA/ASIC highly regarded)
- Proven experience leading complex engagements and managing senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding of governance business processes operational risk and controls frameworks
- Excellent communication and reportwriting skills
- Demonstrated capability in people leadership coaching and team development
