ABOUT THE POSITION
The summer session of the UW Continuum College Youth and Teen Program (YTP) runs MondayFriday June 29 August 21 2026. Approximately 100 youth enrichment classes (mixture of online and in-person) will run over 8 weeks serving approximately 1500 school-aged youth 4th-12th grades. The YTP Coordinator will support both online and in-person classes with an emphasis on in-person classes held on the UW Seattle campus.
The YTP Coordinator serves as the face of the program to students parents and staff as well as the UW community at large. Coordinator works in conjunction with the YTP Team (Directors/Program Administrator and other program staff) maintaining daily operations of the program. This seasonal position begins part-time in the spring and transitions to full time in June and concludes in late August. YTP coordinators must be able to work effectively under pressure and tight timelines track complex operations and have demonstrated skill in supporting youth and program administration.
Prior to hire the Youth and Teen Program Coordinator is required to demonstrate up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification and complete all compliance training (for example Safe Interactions with Youth Reporting Abuse and Neglect etc.)
This temporary staff position rate is: $26.46 to $28 an hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license/certification/registration.
