Assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ Hospital held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and position supports the mission vision and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

• Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs CPR apply oxygen delivering systems perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings prepare sterile field for suturing assist provider with treatment when appropriate apply restraints clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization collect urine specimens and phlebotomy
• Assists in making observations gathering data and identifying patient care needs
• Assists with patient transports and transfers
• Answer telephones filing greet patients/visitors transcribe providers orders electronic data entry and assist with documentation
• Assists with cleaning stocking and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
• Practices safe work habits compliance with safety rules and regulations and adheres to safety policies

• Certified Nursing Assistant: ND (CNA:ND)
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
