Job Title: Physical Therapist (Senior Instructor)

Job Summary: | The MIBH currently seeks an energetic junior full-time Physical Therapist who is eager to advance their evaluation and treatment therapy skills to provide cutting-edge care for the MIBH patients with persistent post-concussive symptoms as a result of military service and elite athletic participation with a primary focus on high-level physical performance visual-vestibular integration conditioning and related cervicogenic therapies. Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical care in concordance with current established best practices and evidence informed physical therapy directly related to change in physical function related to mild/moderate traumatic brain injury Interface effectively with all involved clinical departments including complimentary/alternative health care Anschutz Health and Wellness Center community services and outside referrals where appropriate Establish a customized plan of care that is appropriate to address problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities desires goals and resources Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting with recommendations for services to implement upon return to the home community Engage in research related to diagnosis intervention strategies and outcome measures used to provide the best evidence-based care to those recovering from TBI/concussion injuries Participate and contribute to the MIBH committees involved in developing material and programs within the Marcus Institute (i.e. Pain 101 Family Programming) Receive ongoing mentoring from the MIBH clinicians | |

Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: 1 year direct experience with vestibular physical therapy 2 years direct experience with traumatic brain injury assessment and intervention 1 year Sports medicine exercise physiology and/or human physical performance assessment and training experience Currently licensed with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Physical Therapy or ability to obtain licensure Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $10000 $115000 for a 1.0 FTE appointment The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
