POSITION OVERVIEW

Position will apply principles of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to manufacturing processes to achieve maximum quality and productivity from labor materials and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities):

• Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities.
• Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area.
• Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification.
• Create job work instructions as requested on existing and incoming equipment.
• Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing Processes.
• Investigate justify and implement capital equipment needs.
• Communicate company goals objectives and philosophies to the workforce.
• Attend communication meetings.
• Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety Programs
• Adhere to all Export Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position
• Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs
• Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL REQUIRED

• Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited technical school or college.
• Experience: 1-2 years
• Travel Required: Minimal
• Computer Skill:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel & Power Point
  • Proficient with Internet
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to get along with others
• Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
• Daily attendance
