Job Summary
You will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day warehouse and logistic activities ensuring smooth and safe warehouse operations while driving efficiency and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Responsbilities
- Oversee inbound and outbound material activities including documentation (e.g. batch tracking goods receipts labeling) storage and dispatch ensuring they meet customer expectations.
- Oversee all product and material handling activitiesloading unloading transporting stacking and stagingwhile enforcing safety and environmental (EHS) regulations.
- Assess and prioritize production timelines customer requests and shipping needs assigning work orders accordingly.
- Develop implement and uphold warehouse operating procedures that comply with corporate standards.
- Manage stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and full physical inventories including stock rotation and proper disposal of obsolete or unused items.
- Work with the Engineering team to schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance for warehouse equipment.
- Organize and balance team workloads to minimize overtime while maintaining excellent service levels and process accuracy.
- Integrate production plans with inventory data to effectively manage daily and weekly material movement ensuring stock levels are aligned with supply and demand requirements.
- Carry out annual HR and performance processes for warehouse staff addressing skills gaps through targeted training and development.
- Partner with Logistics leadership and HR to build a strong local talent pipeline creating opportunities for career progression within the warehouse function.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics Operations Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Min 5 years related working experience in a manufacturing industry or 3rd party logistic and warehouse environment.
- Min 2 years of people management/leadership experience
- Strong understanding of shipping regulations and knowledge of warehouse process flow.
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS system.
- Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills.
