Roles and Responsibilities
As Software Engineering - Associate/Assistant Vice President your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee the planning execution and delivery of software projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Work closely with other departments such as product management operations and compliance to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders including executives clients and team members.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology Information Systems Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in IBM Open Pages (8.3.x and later) including designing and developing complex flows for Governance Risk and Compliance space.
- Extensive experience in the GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) domain.
- Strong experience with TFUI workflows configuration views calculations security triggers helpers APIs AFCON object models integration etc.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG.
- Proven experience in designing and architecting solutions on IBM OpenPages and Cognos Framework.
- Proficient in Java to support IBM OpenPages APIs and should be able to mentor the team.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Experience in communicating with user/clients other technical team management to collect requirements identify tasks provide estimates and meet production deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction at all levels.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Experience with the full lifecycle of IBM OpenPages version upgrades and migrations.
- Strong background working with the Java/J2EE.
- Exposure to batch scripting and Windows environments.
- Devops with CI/CD experience.
- Data integration with SQL and Informatica.
- Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira Confluence etc.)
- IBM OpenPages developer certification.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Creative approach to problem-solving innovation and issue resolution.
