Are you a travel enthusiast with a flair for German-language communication We are seeking a sophisticated German Speaking Travel Agent to join our international tourism hub in this role you will act as a personal travel consultant for German-speaking guests managing everything from high-end accommodation bookings to bespoke sightseeing itineraries across the Greek islands and mainland. This is a premier opportunity to relocate to the cradle of Western civilization while representing world-class travel brands like Expedia or major luxury cruise lines.
Core Requirements
- Linguistic Mastery: Native or near-native proficiency (C1/C2) in German; advanced professional English (B2).
- Legal Standing: Must hold EU/EEA Citizenship or a valid unrestricted work permit for Greece.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven interest in the tourism and hospitality sector; previous experience as a travel agent or flight coordinator is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to work with GDS systems (Amadeus Sabre) or complex internal booking platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Exceptional storytelling and sales skillsability to sell the dream of a Greek vacation.
- Strong analytical skills for comparing travel rates flight schedules and accommodation availability.
- A solution-oriented mindset for handling live travel issues (e.g. flight cancellations or overbookings).
- Cultural competence to handle the specific expectations and standards of German-speaking travelers.
